don’t quit your day job

like i said, Amanda had helped me out a ton spending time here at the orphanage. one day we had a brilliant idea to make pillows for the kids in the hostels since they had none. we were rushing to finish before she had to leave (the 2nd time). so we sewed 40 pillows by hand, in 2 1/2 days! we even sewed until midnight by candlelight…yes sir!
it was fun, Amanda actually taught me how to sew because i never learned how. we made the pillows out of their old raggedy clothes the kids couldn’t wear anymore. my mom used to make us “shirt pillows” from our old Tshirts that didn’t fit us anymore…a good use to make out of something sentimental.
the kids love them and its really cute to see them sleep with them.

Hey! The point of me sewing is to eventually QUIT my day job!!
