of course i had to take Amanda to the lake…and of course i needed and deserved a couple days’ vacation. we managed to find a great lil B&B in Mangochi. the place was run by a really great Aussie family. we had a great chateau and she cooked wonderful food, especially fish n chips! they had a tiki bar where you can get drinks, which we loved until we realized the tiki bar is where the bats like to “hang” out (pun intended) during the day. so we spent the entire day just swimming and relaxing, it was perfectly rejuvenating.
